Mankran Forest Reserve of the Offinso Forest District

Activities at the Mankran Forest Reserve site commenced in February 2011. Activities included establishment of tree seedling nursery, demarcation of 500 hectares of land, pegging and planting on the field. 500 hectares containing the following species ( Cedrela odrata, Terminalia superba and Ceiba pentandra) have been planted
Opro and Pra-anum Forest Reserves at Abofour and Amantia
Fifty hectares (50ha) each of plantation were established in the research working cycles of the Institute at Opro and Pra-Anum Forest Reserves in 2010. Census carried in 2012 to measure heights and diameters of trees as well as their survival at Pra-Anum and Opro sites revealed the following results.
