GHANA AND CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change can simply be described as long-term deviations from current climate variables (precipitation, temperature, etc.) as supported by findings from over three decades of weather data. Among other things, climate change can be caused by increased greenhouse gases (GHGs) such as CO2, CH4, O3, N2O, water vapour, and fluorinated gases emitted into the atmosphere.
While natural and human factors cause GHG emissions, current increases are due largely to human or anthropogenic causes. The human factors include burning of fossil fuels, forest removal and the burning of biomass among others.............Click here to download
