STAKE PRESIDENT TURNED TRASH INTO BUILDINGS… TO SAVE THE FOREST
As part of ongoing efforts to advance environmental sustainability and responsible stewardship, Engr. Dr. Prosper Mensah, a Research Scientist at CSIR-Forestry Research Institute of Ghana, was featured in an interview by the Earth Stewards (Holy Earth) platform in the United States of America on the theme, “Turning Trash into Building Materials.”
The discussion underscored the importance of forest conservation, the sustainable use of forest and agricultural residues, biomass valorization, and active public participation in environmental stewardship. It also highlighted the critical role of tree planting, circular bioeconomy approaches, and innovative green material development in building sustainable communities and strengthening climate resilience.
