
CSIR-FORIG HOLDS IT'S STAFF DURBAR
CSIR-FORIG held its Staff Durbar to update staff on key institutional matters and encourage greater commitment to the Institute's objectives.
In his remarks, the Director Dr. Kwame Antwi Oduro, highlighted the importance of the Back-to-Office Report, particularly for scientists and staff who undertake field assignments. He also commended staff for the improvement in punctuality but urged everyone to do better.
The Head of Administration encouraged all staff to complete their nomination forms, stressing their importance in ensuring the smooth administration of staff benefits and records. The Director also addressed the issue of staffing, explaining that the Institute is awaiting recruitment clearance to employ additional staff.
The Head of Finance presented an update on the Institute's financial matters, while the Head of Welfare informed staff of an upcoming general meeting and encouraged their participation. The Staff Durbar meeting provided an opportunity for management and staff to discuss important operational issues and reaffirm their shared commitment to improving service delivery and institutional performance.
