CSIR-FORIG HOLDS STRATEGIC MEETING WITH REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF THE GHANA ENTERPRISES AGENCY
The Director of CSIR-Forestry Research Institute of Ghana (CSIR-FORIG), Dr. Kwame Antwi Oduro, accompanied by the Head of the Forest and Climate Change Division, Dr. Reginald Tang Guuroh, recently held a strategic meeting with the Regional Director of the Ghana Enterprises Agency, Mr. Thomas Fofie. Also present at the meeting were his deputy, Nana Sam-Himbson and Mr. Hopes on Keku, BizBox Ashanti Regional Coordinator. During the engagement, the CSIR-FORIG team presented some key research outputs aligned with GEA’s mandate, including beekeeping, mushroom, and snail production trainings, which have strong potential for enterprise development and livelihood improvement. This meeting underscores the importance of strengthening partnerships between research institutions and enterprise development agencies to drive innovation, enhance livelihoods, and promote sustainable economic growth in Ghana.
