END-OF-SERVICE PRESENTATIONS BY NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL AT CSIR-FORIG
The CSIR–Forestry Research Institute of Ghana (CSIR-FORIG) held an end-of-service presentation programme for its National Service Personnel on Thursday, 17 September 2026, at the Institute’s Conference Room. The programme brought together Heads of Divisions, National Service Personnel, staff members, and other participants to reflect on the experiences, achievements, and contributions of the personnel during their period of service.
Prof. Emmanuel Opuni-Frimpong, Head of the Forest Improvement and Productivity Division (FIPD), served as Chairperson, while Miss Gifty Kayla Amoshie moderated the programme.
During the presentations, the National Service Personnel shared highlights of their experiences and activities throughout their service period. They discussed the projects they undertook, the challenges they encountered, and the achievements recorded during their time at the Institute. Some also explained how their projects were initiated and acknowledged the guidance, support, and encouragement they received from their Heads of Divisions, Heads of Departments, and supervisors.
In his remarks, the Chairperson encouraged the personnel to maintain their relationship with CSIR-FORIG even after completing their service. He advised them to remain connected with the Institute and to approach the Directors and other relevant authorities whenever they required recommendations, employment-related assistance, or other professional support.
Prof. Opuni-Frimpong commended the National Service Personnel for their dedication, discipline, and valuable contributions to the Institute. He encouraged them to apply the knowledge, skills, and experience acquired during their service to their future careers.
He wished all the personnel success in their future endeavours and expressed the hope that the experience gained at CSIR-FORIG would serve as a strong foundation for their professional development.
