This programme supports the market development for forest products. Priority areas include:
- Bio-prospecting
- Marketing and trade
- Value chain assessment and development
- Capacity building on value addition
- Strengthening rural enterprises (including co-operatives)
- Access to domestic and international markets
- Private sector investment in non-timber forest products development and processing
- Forest valuation and payment for ecosystem Services (PES)
- Development of standards and certification of marketed products
