Francis Tease is an Assistant Research Scientist with the Forest Improvement and Productivity Division at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research-Forestry Research Institute of Ghana (CSIR-FORIG). He holds an MSc. in Bioeconomy and Natural Resources Management from the University of Eastern Finland. He is currently a Graduate Research Assistant, Parks and Conservation Area Management, College of Behavioral, Health, and Social Sciences, Clemson University, South Carolina, United States. He is an interdisciplinary environmental social researcher who focuses on Parks and Conservation Area Management, Community Participation in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Justice, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, and Forest Landscape Restoration. He has collaborated with national research scientists on numerous donor-funded research projects in partnership with local communities in Ghana.

Francis has also worked in partnership with Scientists from the USDA Forest Service, Centre for Geospatial Research (CGR) Department of Geography, University of Georgia, United States on different Research projects. He has co-authored Journal publications, conference papers, poster presentations, and technical reports.

He is a member of the Research Staff Association of CSIR.
