In 2020, a total of 738 people were trained in 19 alterna ve livelihood sessions organized by CSIR-FORIG including Snail farming, Beekeeping for honey produc on, Mushroom cul va on (domo & oyster), Mul purpose tree nursery, cocoa agroforestry, forest law enforcement, Nursery and Planta on Establishment.
Under the Food Security and Poverty Reduc on programme, domes ca on of Pomegranate species was undertaken during the year under review. A remarkable milestone was achieved by iden fying ecological zones where Pomegranate perform well.
Secondly, six (6) trees flowered during the year.
