This programme seeks to develop and upscale technologies that contribute to conservation of biodiversity and sustainable management of landscapes and water bodies. Priority areas will include:
- Land use systems
- Ecosystem services
- Land health surveillance, and forest genetic resource conservation
- Management of invasive tree species,
- Forest resource assessment, harvesting/ logging (including NTFPs)
- Wildlife management
The Biodiversity Conservation and Ecosystem Services is headed by Dr. Bright Obeng Kankam. The Division has 6 senior members, 7 senior staff and 11 junior staff.
