Professional fields of interest

Plant/System/Fire Ecology and Environmental resources management and Climate change, Plant ecology, Environmental Resources Management and Wood Science (Quality Control)

Professional Background
I have a broad research background and interest spanning from Plant ecology to environmental science.
My current research sought to focus on addressing issues relating to the dynamics of the forest-savanna transition and the role of fire and edaphic factors. I am also interested in how vegetation influence micro-and regional climate. I seek to address issues relating to climate change in the tropics especially in the forest-savanna transitions of west, Africa. I have been collaborating in a number of international research efforts in this field in plant ecology. I am currently affiliated to Wageningen University as a PhD candidate.
